Coelophysis: New Mexico's State Fossil was created by the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science, a Division of the State of New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs.

This website was designed and developed by Ideum.

This site was developed as part of Dawn of the Dinosaurs: Triassic New Mexico, a permanent exhibit which opened in 2008 in the Edward and Mary Gavin Family Hall at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. The exhibit showcases the Museum's extensive collection of Triassic fossils, including a block containing the remains of dozens of Coelophysis individuals from Ghost Ranch, New Mexico.

Funding for this website was provided by Governor Bill Richardson and the New Mexico State Legislature. Many thanks go out to the numerous museums, authors, and publishers who graciously allowed us to distribute many of the articles, images, and other documents accessible through this site.

This website was made possible through the coordinated efforts of the staff and volunteers of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science, the New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation, the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, and the New Mexico Department of Information Technology.

Finally, special thanks are due to Christie Gross, whose talent, dedication, and insight proved invaluable in organizing this project and bringing it to fruition.
